Picture info:
This is an over-view shot of the Arena! Here you can see the maps layout, and placement of everything (on ground level, that is) You also get a great shot at the scope of the archways around the coliseum, and the main structure. The flags come stock with the engine, as decoration mesh. But they are pretty (very much so) and animate as well. Ooooo
Series info:
Here’s the baby I’ve been working on for the majority of this quarter. With a major in game art, I focused on this class more than the others this time around. I think the effort has significantly paid off! ^_^ Its a Roman gladiator-styled arena for Unreal Tournament 2004. Its a pity much of the effort goes into invisible elements not usually noticed by a viewer (or gamer usually) Such as the immense amount of bot-pathing, collision mesh work, and blockout volumes.
For those that don’t have the game, I’ve included screenshots of the level. Those that do, Id recommend giving me a holler sometime online and I can send it to you and we could play
Thanks, dear! Its a pitty we didnt have the class together, I could have partaken many wisdoms upon ye ^_^ I still can though! so if you ever want help, or criticism, or ideas I can tell ya what I like, what would be cool, and how to do it
Well Technically I think you guys should be getting more classes in it than us, we just have more game and level strategy classes... While you guys probably have advanced flash, etc...
but I love 3d much more than 2d... My hands never seem to cease failing me when I work on 2d stuff 3d is technical, and I like that ^_^

I'm kinda glad I think... means more 2d stuff right? >.> I don't like doing 3d stuff... maybe texturing? not sure yet.
